The 1816 United States presidential election in Delaware took place between 1 November and 4 December 1816, as part of the 1816 United States presidential election. Voters chose four representatives, or electors to the Electoral College, who voted for President and Vice President.

Delaware cast three electoral votes for the Federalist candidate Rufus King over the Democratic-Republican candidate James Monroe. These electors were elected by the Delaware General Assembly, the state legislature, rather than by popular vote. However one of the four electors did not end up casting their vote. The three electoral votes for Vice president were also not cast for King's running mate John E. Howard, but for Federalist Robert Goodloe Harper from Maryland.[1]
