The 2024 Cleveland Guardians season is the 124th season for the franchise, which competes in the American League of Major League Baseball (MLB). This is the franchise's third season using the name "Guardians" and the first season under manager Stephen Vogt after previous manager Terry Francona stepped down at the conclusion of the previous season. The season will open on March 28, 2024 on the road against the Oakland Athletics and is scheduled to end on September 29, 2024 at home against the Houston Astros.[1]
