  • 12 April - One person is killed and seven others are injured after a cable car falls on rocky ground due to a collapsed pylon outside Antalya. The accident also leaves 184 people stranded across the entire cable car system.[17]
  • 18 April - A magnitude 5.6 earthquake hits Tokat Province, destroying several buildings there and in neighboring Yozgat Province.[18]
