Alanje is a corregimiento in Alanje District, Chiriquí Province, Panama. It is the seat of Alanje District.[1] It has a land area of 21.4 square kilometres (8.3 sq mi) and had a population of 2,406 as of 2010[update], giving it a population density of 112.3 inhabitants per square kilometre (291/sq mi).[1] Its population as of 1990 was 2,348; its population as of 2000 was 2,703.[1]
