Ali Mohammad Ali Al Qadi (Arabic: علي محمد علي القاضي; died 13 October 2023) was a Palestinian senior Hamas commander in the Nukhba special forces unit.[1] He was involved in the planning of the 7 October attacks in Israel.[2] Qadhi was from the West Bank.[3] In 2005, Israel arrested Qadhi for his involvement in the kidnapping and murder of Sasson Nuriel,[4] but he was released in 2011 as part of the Gilad Shalit prisoner exchange.[5][6] As part of the prisoner exchange, he was deported to Gaza.[3] On 14 October 2023, the Israel Defense Forces announced that it had killed Qadhi in a drone attack.[7][4]
