Branislav Vukomanović (Serbian Cyrillic: Бранислав Вукомановић; born December 29, 1981) is a Serbian former footballer and current coach.

Club career

Vukomanović began his career in 2000 in the First League of FR Yugoslavia with FK Radnički Kragujevac.[1] In 2001, he played with FK Šumadija 1903 and the following season he played abroad in the Montenegrin First League with FK Zeta.[2] During his tenure with FK Zeta he featured in the 2006 UEFA Intertoto Cup against NK Maribor.[3] In 2006, he went to play in the Corgoň Liga with FC Petržalka akadémia.[4] The following season he went further north to sign with Syrianska FC in the Division 1.[5]

After a brief stint in the Serbian League West with Radnicki he played in Liga I with FC Farul Constanța.[6] He returned to the Serbia in 2010 to play with FK Šumadija Radnički 1923.[7] In 2010, he played in the Premier League of Bosnia and Herzegovina with FK Sloboda Tuzla.[8] He went abroad once more in 2011 to sign with Szolnoki MÁV FC in the Nemzeti Bajnokság I.[9] In 2011, he returned to the Serbian SuperLiga to play with FK Metalac Gornji Milanovac.

He had a brief stint abroad in the Albanian Superliga with KS Kastrioti.[10][11] He returned to Serbia to play with FK Radnički Niš.[12][13]

Canada

In the summer of 2013, he played abroad in the Canadian Soccer League's first division with London City.[14] Vukomanović served as the team's co-captain along with Rade Novković.[15] In his debut season with the club, he assisted in clinching a postseason berth.[16] London successfully defeated the York Region Shooters in the opening round of the playoffs.[17] The club's run in the playoff concluded in the next round after a defeat by Kingston FC.[18]

In 2014, he signed with division rivals the Serbian White Eagles.[19] He would help the Serbs secure a playoff berth by finishing sixth in the division.[20] The White Eagles were eliminated in the preliminary round of the postseason by Kingston.[21] Vukomanović re-signed with the Serbs for the 2015 season.[22] In his second season with the Western Toronto side, he assisted the team in securing the divisional title.[23] He recorded the winning goal against London in the quarterfinal round.[24] In the semifinal round, he contributed a goal against SC Waterloo Region but in a losing effort.[25]

In his third season with Serbia, he assisted the club in winning the league championship after defeating Hamilton City.[26]

Managerial career

In 2017, he served as an assistant coach for the Serbian White Eagles in the Canadian Soccer League.[27] In 2019, he along with Uroš Stamatović became involved with the Serbian White Eagles academy as a manager and coach.[28]
