East Woody Island

East Woody Island (Yolŋu: Dhamitjinya[1]), is an island in Australia.[2] It is located in East Arnhem Land in the Northern Territory. The closest town is Nhulunbuy.[3][4] A sand spit connects the island to the Australian mainland.[5]
