The Flag of Moskitia, historically referred to as King George Cross or the Moskitia National Flag, was the first official flag of the Kingdom of Mosquitia.[1]
The design was ordered by King George Frederic Augustus II on 8 March 1824, to consist of ''six horizontal stripes alternating blue and white, and in the canton, a Union Jack.''[2]
The flag is said to have ''undergone several variations (both in the number of stripes and in the size of the Union Jack).''[3]
