Harmozica ravergiensis is a species of an air-breathing land snail, a terrestrial pulmonate gastropod mollusk in the family Hygromiidae, the hairy snails and their allies.
This is the type species of the genus Harmozica.[3]
The specific name ravergiensis is in honour of Mr. M. Ravergie.[1]
Distribution
[edit]The distribution of this species is Caucasian[4] and countries include:
- probably non-native in Ukraine.[4]
- southeastern Ukraine in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast and Donetsk Oblast since 2006[4]
- western Ukraine[4]
- Armenia[5]
- Azerbaijan[5]
- Georgia[5]
- Russia[5]
The type locality is "Caucasus".[2]
