Ilse Peternell (2 December 1928 – 30 April 2011) was an Austrian actress who appeared in more than forty films during her career. During the 1940s and 1950 she played female leads in films such as Winter Melody (1947).[1] She gradually switched to supporting and character roles.
Peternell died on 30 April 2011, at the age of 82.[2][3]
