Irvin DeVonta Charles (born April 13, 1997) is an American football wide receiver for the New York Jets of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Penn State and IUP.[1]

On May 6, 2022, the New York Jets signed Charles to a three-year, $2.565 million contract as an undrafted free agent.[3][4] On August 29, 2022, he was waived by the Jets.[3][5] On August 31, 2022, the Jets signed Charles to their practice squad.[3][5]

On January 7, 2023, the Jets signed Charles to their active roster on a one-year, $705,000 contract.[6][4] He made the team's final roster for the 2023 season.[7] He was waived on September 16 and re-signed to the practice squad.[8][9] He was promoted to the active roster on October 11, 2023.[10]
