John Blanton is an American politician who has served as a member of the Kentucky House of Representatives since January 2017. He represents Kentucky's 92nd House district. He held a long career in the Kentucky State Police.

Electoral history

Blanton was first elected to the house in the 2016 Kentucky House of Representatives election and was reelected in the 2018 Kentucky House of Representatives election, 2020 Kentucky House of Representatives election, and 2022 Kentucky House of Representatives election.

Biography

Blanton was born in Salyersville, Kentucky. He earned a degree from Morehead State University.[1] He is a Baptist.[2] He is an ordained minister and serves as a pastor at his Baptist church.[3]
