Kashmiri Pandit surname

Kachru or Kachroo (Kashmiri: कचरू, کچرو) is a Kashmiri Pandit surname and clan. Kachrus originate from the Kashmir Valley of Jammu and Kashmir, India. Plenty of Kachrus retained their Hindu last name after they converted to Islam.[1]
