Kahak (Persian: كهك), also Romanized as Kakhak, Kūhak, and Kūkak,[3] is a village in Khorramabad Rural District of Esfarvarin District, Takestan County, Qazvin province, Iran.

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 1,956 in 440 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 2,470 people in 683 households.[5] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 2,827 people in 809 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district.[2]
