Kokrajhar University formally known as Kokrajhar Government College (KGC) is a is a university located in Kokrajhar, Assam, India. It was established as Kokrajhar College in 1959 at the heart of the town. The college is promoted to the status of a university by Government of Assam by the Kokrajhar University Act 2024.
Affiliating university and council
[edit]The college was affiliated to Gauhati University for degree level until 2019-20. Thereafter, the college was affiliated to Bodoland University till the academic session 2024-25. The Higher Secondary level is affiliated to Assam Higher Secondary Education Council.
