List of people executed in the United States in 1954

Eighty-three people, eighty-one male and two female, were executed in the United States in 1954, sixty-seven by electrocution, twelve by gas chamber, and four by hanging.[1]

The state of Vermont conducted its final executions this year, before abolishing capital punishment in 1965.
