Luka Zarić (Serbian Cyrillic: Лука Зарић; born 31 October 2008) is a Serbian professional footballer who plays as a right winger for Serbian SuperLiga club Red Star Belgrade. And on dual registration tho Serbian First League club Grafičar Beograd.[2][3]
Club career
[edit]Zarić was born in Užice, on October 31, 2008. He took his first football steps on the fields behind the south of Rajko Mitić Stadium and was an important part of all the younger categories of the club.[4]
On 18 December 2023, Zarić signed his first professional contract with his parent club Red Star Belgrade.[5]
In July 2025, Zarić was transferred to Grafičar Beograd.[6][7] In accordance with the established Regulations,[a] he was available to both teams.[10]
On 2 August 2025, he have his first senior debut for Grafičar Beograd as a starter in the opening round of the new Serbian First League season, where he also scored his first senior goal, against Mačva Šabac in the away win.[11][12]
On 14 August 2025, Zarić was then brought into the Red Star Belgrade first team by the head coach Vladan Milojević.[13]
On 15 August 2025, In the 5th round of the newly started season of the Serbian SuperLiga Zarić made his official debut for the Red Star Belgrade first team, against Mladost Lučani. He came on the field replacing Aleksa Damjanović in the 76th minute.[14][15]
International career
[edit]He played for the Serbian national teams at U15, U16, and U17 levels.[16]

[edit]- ^ According to the Regulations on "cooperation between football clubs", it implies the right of a young football player to play for a "contracted club" in the Serbian First League in parallel with the parent club, a member of the Serbian SuperLiga. A young player is considered a possible member of the Serbia U21 national team.[8] The maximum number of such players from the parent club is limited to 10, up to 5 in the same contracted club. In the second club, only the first team is allowed to play, not for the younger categories. Although colloquially called dual registration, which previously existed, according to these Regulations, players are registered only for the parent club.[9]
