Mark Bellingham (born 7 March 1976) is an English former footballer who played as a striker and a retired Police Sergeant of the West Midlands Police. At his prime he played in the Northern and Southern League Premier Division, both at level 7 of the pyramid.

Early life

Bellingham is a native of Southend-on-Sea, Essex, England.[1]

College career

Bellingham attended the University of Wolverhampton.[2]

Club career

Bellingham has been regarded as a prolific non-league striker, scoring over 700 goals.[3] In 2001, he almost retired from football after suffering his second torn cruciate.[4] By the late 2010s, he retired from non-league football and started playing in veterans’ tournaments.[5] He last played as a striker for Southam United,[6]

Personal life

He is the father of footballers Jude and Jobe Bellingham.[7]
