Pune Riverfront is an under-construction waterfront being developed by Pune Municipal Corporation along the banks of Mula-Mutha River in Pune, India. Proposed in the 2000s, construction of the project began in 2022.

History

Sangam Bridge on Mutha River

In 2022, the Pune Municipal Corporation, gave its nod to spend over 5,500 crore (US$690 million) on improvement and beautification of the Mula-Mutha River in the coming years. In this are two mega projects:[1]

  • Development of the riverfront (total Rs:4,000 crore)
  • Rejuvenation of the river (total Rs:1,500 crore)
