Tang Na (唐納) (7 May 1914 – 23 August 1988), birth name as Ma Jizong (馬繼宗) from Ma's family on Suzhou Pingjiang Road (蘇州平江路馬家). In summer 1932 he enrolled in St. John's University, Shanghai with study name Ma Ji-Liang/Ma Ki-Leung (馬驥良 or 馬季良). Since 1933 he became film critic, and later actor, screen and theater writer, and journalist. Tang Na (唐納) was one of his most well-known pen names. In April 1936 He married actress Lan Ping, who after their divorce in early 1937, went to Yan'An and married Mao Zedong in 1938. [1]

The other newlyweds were Ye Luxi (葉露茜) and Zhao Dan (to Lan Ping's right), as well as Du Xiaojuan (杜小鵑) and actor Gu Eryi (顧而已). Top row included Zheng Junli, Shen Junru, and actor Li Qing (李清).
