Tierra Dorada is a census-designated place (CDP) in Starr County, Texas, United States. It is a new CDP formed from part of the La Rosita CDP prior to the 2010 census, with a population of 28.[1]

Geography

Tierra Dorada is located at 26°24′2″N 98°55′17″W / 26.40056°N 98.92139°W / 26.40056; -98.92139 (26.400653, -98.921262).[2]

Education

The CDP is within the Roma Independent School District.[3] The zoned elementary school for the 2010 Census community is Delia Gonzalez (DG) Garcia Elementary School.[4] Roma High School is the district's sole comprehensive high school.
