Timung

Sub-clans of the Karbi community

Timung are one of the sub-clans (locally called Kur) from Tungjang Clan of Karbi community.[1] They mainly live in Karbi Anglong, West Karbi Anglong districts of Assam state and other parts of Northeast India.
