Kreken plays within the bands Eivind Aarset Trio (bass), Faircastle Four (guitar, banjo), Shining (bass), The Holstein United Bluegrass Boys (banjo, vocal) Wibutee (bass, banjo) and Darling West (guitar, banjo, vocal).^[2]
