50°59′44″N 17°3′56″E / 50.99556°N 17.06556°E / 50.99556; 17.06556Turów [ˈturuf] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Żórawina, within Wrocław County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in south-western Poland.[1] It lies approximately 2 kilometres (1 mi) north-east of Żórawina and 15 km (9 mi) south of the regional capital Wrocław.
The name of the village is of Polish origin and comes from the word tur, which means "aurochs".[2]
