Village Cinema (Village Roadshow Greece), is a television movie network production company, owned by DEMCO Group since October 2009. In 2012, it launched the Village Cinema channel.[1] Debuting in Greece on June 11th 2012, exclusively on Cosmote TV.
The television channel specializes in programming centered on the film industry and the creative process of movie production. The channel commenced its transmission with the screening of the film Buried, which marked its debut on Greek television.[citation needed]
