The women's tournament of water polo at the 2024 Summer Olympics at Paris, France will be held from 27 July to 10 August 2024. It will be held at the Paris Aquatics Centre and Paris La Défense Arena.[1] It will be the seventh official appearance of the tournament.

- ^ South Africa withdrew from the tournament after the 2024 World Aquatics Championships. Canada, as the best non-qualified team, took their spot.[2]
Competition format
The ten teams were seeded into two groups for a preliminary round. The teams in each group play a round-robin. The top four teams in each group advance to the knockout round while the fifth placed teams will be eliminated. The fifth placed teams will be ranked ninth and tenth based on win–loss record, then goal average. The knockout round will begin with quarterfinals and the winners advance to the semifinals, while the quarterfinal losers play in the fifth- to eighth- place classification. The two semifinal winners play in the gold medal match, while the two semifinal losers played in the bronze medal match.[3]
Schedule
The competition will begin on 27 July, and matches were held every other day. At each match time, two matches will be played simultaneously.[4]
