Zaviyeh-ye Sofla (Persian: زاويه سفلي), also Romanized as Zāvīyeh-ye Soflá and Zaviyeh Sofla; also known as Zāveyeh, Zāvīeh, Zāvīyeh, and Zāvīyeh-ye Pā’īn,[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Chaldoran-e Shomali Rural District of the Central District of Chaldoran County, West Azerbaijan province, Iran.[4]

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 401 in 99 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 432 people in 127 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 407 people in 120 households.[2]
