Ernest Dichter (Viena, 14 de agosto de 1907 –Peekskill, Nueva York, 21 de noviembre de 1991) fue un psicólogo industrial y experto en marketing conocido como el "padre de la investigación motivacional".

Biografía

Nació en Viena, y recibió su doctorado por la Universidad de Viena en 1934.Realizó postgrado en la Sorbona, y finalmente, emigró con su esposa Hedy Langfelder, a EE. UU. en 1938 porque al ser judío corría peligro en Francia..[1]​ Conoció y trató a Anna Freud y es mencionado en el documental The Century of the Self de Adam Curtis.
