Soundz, de son vrai nom Kenneth Charles Coby, né en 1985 à Decatur, en Géorgie, est un rappeur, auteur-compositeur et producteur de hip-hop et RnB américain. Durant sa carrière, il collabore avec de nombreux artistes à succès comme Trey Songz (Foreign), Rae Sremmurd (Throw Sum Mo) et Justin Bieber (Confident)[3]. Il collabore aussi avec des artistes tels que Ciara, Brandy, Pitbull, Trina, Usher, Young Boss ou encore Rihanna.

Biographie

Il travaille avec Ciara sur ses albums, Basic Instinct en 2010 et Ciara en 2013. En , Soundz publie sa mixtape Jeep Boyz Christmas qui fait participer Casey Jones, Milla, Chantel McCrary, Micahfonecheck, Al G, Young Skoop, et MAC[4]. Le , Soundz publie une autre mixtape intitulée Hunger Over Thirst avec DJ Orator[5]

En , il publie un single intitulé Kissing on Your Neck[6] suivie de sa vidéo en [7]. En , il publie un extrait de la chanson Vivian’s Interlude, annonçant un nouvel EP[8]. À la fin de 2015, Soundz publie son premier EP solo intitulé Slow Ain’t Dead[3].

Au début de 2016, Soundz publie un clip vidéo de sa chanson Highs and Lows[2]. En , il publie son premier projet musical de l'année intitulé Sheets, qui fait participer Jeremih et Chi Hoover sur la chanson Partner In Crime et Nez and Rio (ScHoolboy Q, Tinashe, A$AP Rocky) à la production[9],[10]. En , il publie un nouveau single intitulé 4 A.M.[11]. Toujours en , Soundz participe au remix de la chanson Permission de Styles P[12].
