Chán (Hanzi sederhana: ; Hanzi tradisional: , abbr. chánnà (禪那), dari Sanskrit dhyāna,[1] yang artinya "meditasi" atau "negara meditatif"[2]) adalah aliran Buddha Mahāyāna yang berkembang di Tiongkok dari abad ke-6 Masehi, yang menjadi dominan pada masa Dinasti Tang dan Dinasti Song.

Dari Tiongkok, Chán menyebar ke Vietnam dan Korea (di mana disitu dikenal sebagai Seon) dan, pada abad ke-13, menyebar ke Jepang, di mana disitu menjadi dikenal sebagai Zen.
