Pertempuran ini terjadi di dekat Sungai Little Bighorn di Teritori Montana Timur.

Pertempuran ini berakhir dengan kemenangan orang asli Amerika. Pasukan Amerika Serikat dapat dikalahkan dan George Armstrong Custer tewas terbunuh.
