Type 79 radar

Type 79 radar adalah sebuah radar peringatan dini yang dikembangkan angkatan laut Inggris sebelum Perang Dunia II. Ini adalah sistem radar pertama digunakan oleh Royal Navy.

Versi pertama dari radar ini, Type 79X, dipasang pada tender RN Signal School, kapal penyapu ranjau HMS Saltburn, pada bulan Oktober 1936.
