De Mylodontoidea zijn een superfamilie uit de onderorde van de luiaards (Folivora). Tot deze groep behoren de nog levende familie Choloepodidae, waartoe de tweevingerige luiaards (Choloepus) behoren, en de uitgestorven families Mylodontidae en Scelidotheriidae, die een aantal grondluiaards omvatten.[1][2]
