Trimma is een geslacht van straalvinnige vissen uit de familie van grondels (Gobiidae).[2] De wetenschappelijke naam van het geslacht is voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd in 1906 door Jordan en Seale.[1] De typesoort van het geslacht is Trimma caesiura Jordan & Seale, 1906).
