Frederic Manning (22.7. 188222.2. 1935) bio je australski pjesnik i romanopisac. Živio je u Britaniji a za vrijeme prvog svjetskog rata je kao oficir sudjelovao u bitci na Sommi. Na temelju tih iskustava je napisao The Middle Parts of Fortune, svoj najpoznatiji roman.
