Fruktoza-1-fosfat je derivat fruktoze. Ona se formira posredstvom hepatičke fruktokinaze.[4]
Fruktoza-1-fosfat konvertuje aldolaza B[5] u gliceraldehid i dihidroksiaceton fosfat (DHAP).
