Ken Follett (5. jun 1949 -) je velški pisac, najpoznatiji po trilerima i historijskim romanima kao što su Eye of the Needle, The Key to Rebecca, Pillars of the Earth i World without End, a koji su poslužili kao predložak za uspješne filmove i mini-serije.

Odrastao je u porodici sljedbenika Plimutske braće, te su mu roditelji zabranjivali da gleda filmove i televiziju. Zbog toga se okrenuo čitanju, te je nakon studija na londonskom University Collegeu postao novinar. Godine 1978. je njegov roman Eye of the Needle postao međunarodni bestseler te se nakon toga mogao u potpunosti okrenuti pisanju. Od studija je bio aktivan u politici, te je poznat kao simpatizer Laburističke stranke; sudjelujući u njenim aktivnostima je upoznao svoju drugu suprugu Barbaru, koja je od 1997. do 2010. bila laburistički član Parlamenta. Poznat je kao pristaša tzv. blairitske frakcije. Godine 2010. je potpisao otvoreno pismo kojim je iskazano protivljenje službenoj posjeti pape Benedikta XVI Britaniji.
