Piroglutamilna peptidaza I (EC 3.4.19.3, 5-oksoprolilna peptidaza, piraza, piroglutamatna aminopeptidaza, piroglutamilna aminopeptidaza, L-piroglutamil peptidna hidrolaza, pirolidon-karboksilna peptidaza, pirolidon-karboksilatna peptidaza, pirolidonilna peptidaza, L-pirolidonkarboksilatna peptidaza, piroglutamidaza, pirolidonkarboksilol peptidaza) je enzim.[1][2][3][4] Ovaj enzim katalizuje sledeću hemijsku reakciju
- Odvajanje N-terminalne piroglutamilne grupe sa polipeptida, pri čemu druga aminokiselina generalno nije Pro
Ovaj cisteinska peptidaza, je izolovana iz bakterija, biljki i životinja.
