Superman IV: The Quest for Peace (doslovno: Superman IV: Potraga za mirom) je američki superherojski film snimljen 1987. u režiji Sidneya J. Furieja, a koji predstavlja četvrti nastavak serije o strip-junaku Supermanu, koga tumači Christopher Reeve. Radnja prati Supermanov pokušaj da svijet, kome prijeti treći svjetski rat, oslobodi prijetnje nuklearnog oružja, a što će ga ponovno dovesti u sukob sa starim neprijateljem Lexom Luthorom (koga glumi Gene Hackman). Film je predstavljao komercijalni fijasko i doživio porazne kritike; to se obično tumači time da je Ilya Salkind - producent prethodna tri nastavka, razočaran neuspjehom spin-off filma Supergirl, autorska prava na seriju prodao producentima Golanu i Globusu koji su bili specijalisti za niskobudžetne filmove i skloni drastičnom rezanju troškova.
