Marion Durbin Ellis (25 Ekim 1887) – 16 Aralık 1972) Amerikalı bir ihtiyolog ve entomolog.[1] Kendisi, on dokuz takson adını verdiği balıkların Hemigrammus cinsi[2] hakkında bugüne kadarki en kapsamlı çalışmayı yürüttüğüne inanılmaktadır. <i id="mwEw">Corydoras ellisae</i> ve Hyphessobrycon ellisae (diğer adıyla Hyphessobrycon sergipanus) taksonları , Bryconops durbinae[3] ve Bryconacidnus ellisi türleri gibi onun adına adlandırılmıştır.[4]
