Boquerón is a corregimiento in Boquerón District, Chiriquí Province, Panama, near the volcano of Volcán Barú. It is the seat of Boquerón District.[1] It has a land area of 39.9 square kilometres (15.4 sq mi) and had a population of 3,881 as of 2010, giving it a population density of 97.2 inhabitants per square kilometre (252/sq mi).[1] Its population as of 1990 was 2,478; its population as of 2000 was 3,065.[1]
