Chotýčany (German: Schmiedgraben) is a municipality and village in České Budějovice District in the South Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 300 inhabitants.

Chotýčany lies approximately 11 kilometres (7 mi) north of České Budějovice and 114 km (71 mi) south of Prague.
