Bošilec is a municipality and village in České Budějovice District in the South Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 200 inhabitants.

Bošilec lies approximately 24 kilometres (15 mi) north-east of České Budějovice and 106 km (66 mi) south of Prague.

The first written mention of Bošilec is from 1318.[2]
