Górzyce
Village in Lower Silesian Voivodeship, Poland
50°57′56″N 16°49′53″E / 50.96556°N 16.83139°E / 50.96556; 16.83139Górzyce [ɡuˈʐɨt͡sɛ] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Kąty Wrocławskie, within Wrocław County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in south-western Poland.[1]
It lies approximately 9 kilometres (6 mi) south-east of Kąty Wrocławskie, and 24 kilometres (15 mi) south-west of the regional capital Wrocław.
The name of the village is of Polish origin and comes from the word góra which means "hill".[2][3]
