Michel A. Ball (born September 17, 1954) is an American politician who was a member of the Alabama House of Representatives, representing its 10th district from 2002 to 2022.

Biography

Ball was born in Stockton, California. He has a bachelor's degree from Athens State University. He was a State Trooper and then part of the Alabama Bureau of Investigations before entering politics. Ball is a Methodist.

Ball served in the Alabama House of Representatives from 2002 to 2022, as a member of the Republican Party. During his first run for the state legislature, his campaign was managed by Marilyn Lands. After his retirement, Ball said he had left the Republican Party and identified as an Independent. Following the resignation of Ball's successor in the 10th district, David Cole, Ball endorsed Lands when she ran in the subsequent special election as a Democrat.[1]
