54°12′3″N 20°49′33″E / 54.20083°N 20.82583°E / 54.20083; 20.82583Szwaruny [ʂfaˈrunɨ] (German: Groß Schwaraunen)[1] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Bartoszyce, within Bartoszyce County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland, close to the border with the Kaliningrad Oblast of Russia.[2] It lies approximately 6 kilometres (4 mi) south of Bartoszyce and 51 km (32 mi) north-east of the regional capital Olsztyn.
