The Tintookies is a 1956 Australian musical comedy from Peter Scriven. Produced with marionettes, it was produced by the Elizabethan Theatre Trust.[1][2]

The play toured Australia.[3] It was very popular and established Scriven's company.[4][5]

It led to a sequel Little Fella Bindi.[6]

The play was revived in 1965.[7]

Premise

The story of the Tintookies, the little people who live in the sandhills.
