In organic and organometallic chemistry, trisulfide is the functional group R-S-S-S-R.

Examples include:

  • Diallyl trisulfide
  • Dimethyl trisulfide
  • Trisulfane (hydrogen trisulfide)

Some inorganic compounds are also named trisulfides to reflect their stoichiometry.
