Sjedinjene DržaveDodsworth je američki crno-bijeli film snimljen 1936. godine u režiji Williama Wylera. Predstavlja adaptaciju istoimenog romana Sinclaira Lewisa, za koju je scenarij je napisao Sidney Howard, autor istoimene dramske adaptacije. Naslovni protagonist, čiji lik tumači Walter Huston (koji je istu ulogu tumačio u predstavi) je Sam Dodsworth, sredovječni automobilski tajkun koga njegova mlađa supruga Fran (koju tumači Ruth Chatterton) nagovori da odu na veliko putovanje u Evropu. Tamo se iskristaliziraju razlike među supružnicima, a pogotovo kada Fran, uvjerena kako je Sam "priprost" počne vanbračne afere sa "elegantnim" i "profinjenim" Evropljanima. Dodsworth je predstavljao jedna od komercijalno najuspješnijih filmova godine, a osvojio je i Oscar za najbolju scenografiju.
Uspjeh filma je uvjerio producenta Samuela Goldwyna da Howardu povjeri scenarij za filmsku adaptaciju popularnog romana Gone with the Wind.
